Fire Prevention and Protection

The goal of the University's Fire Prevention and Protection Program is to provide a fire safe environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors to Penn State. This is accomplished through fire prevention education, inspections, pre-operational reviews, fire hazard analysis, and fire extinguisher and fire evacuation training. Emphasis in education and implementation of programs for in-residence students and other areas is a major component.
