EHS Management System (EHS-MS)
Integrated Safety Plan
The ISP helps departments build a strong safety culture, reduce injury risks, and improve compliance through a structured, incentive-based approach. By partnering with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and committing to three core elements—leadership commitment, employee involvement, and self-review—departments can earn ISP certification and qualify for financial incentives like cost sharing and regulatory indemnity. EHS provides tools, resources, and guidance to support success.
University Safety Council
Supports designated Safety Officers—representatives from academic and administrative units—by providing resources and tools to help them fulfill their responsibilities. Under the guidance of the Office of Environmental Health and Safety, Safety Officers are tasked with developing and implementing a comprehensive occupational health and safety program to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the University community.
