Penn State’s Fire Safety policies establish requirements to help prevent fires, protect people and property, and ensure campus readiness in the event of a fire or emergency. Administered through Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), these policies address topics such as fire prevention, fire extinguishers, open flames, evacuation procedures, and fire protection systems to promote a safe learning, working, and living environment across the University.
