We provide information, resources, and tools to help Safety Council representatives fulfill their responsibilities effectively.
Who we are and what we do.
The University Safety Council includes members from academic colleges and administrative units. These representatives are commonly known as Safety Officers.
Safety Officers play a key role in promoting campus safety. Their responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a practical occupational health and safety program under the guidance of the Office of Environmental Health and Safety.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all members of the University community.
